Conway Socks are Finished

I've been madly knitting these socks to keep up with my online knitting group. Naturally I made a major mistake and had to frog several rows and these stitches are murder to pick up. But it's fixed and here they are. Now to finish my red Latvians, which I'm also finding difficult.

Conway Progress

I like knitting these socks more than I thought I would. I'm making them in Lorna's Laces Perwinkle and did not do the decreases in the pattern. I think they'll be fine.

What a great first project for a fair isle knitter!  Posted by Picasa

Color on color scarf. I love this even though I hated stranding all the Paternayan.  Posted by Picasa

My design of a fairl isle sweater. This is my first knitting project in 20 years! The sweater is hot, but soft. Posted by Picasa

Completed Knitting Projects

I'm finally getting my act together and posting pictures of finished projects. Eventually, I may even post works in progress and there are many. Socks and wraps from the new XRX book are my passions right now. Fair isle and arans are on the back burner as usual.
Happy knitting!

The Day Before

Jim is going into the hospital tomorrow and I can’t sleep.  I’ve been up since 4 AM.  I found the Westminster Kennel Club web site and spent a bunch of time looking at dog breeds.  It’s snowing here.
